Boris says "YES!" to VESK

VESK's Technical Director and two 1st Line Technical Support Engineers from VESK meet Boris Johnson to promote young workers in the Capital.

 

The UK Government are promoting young workers to get involved in new up and coming technologies and considering getting straight into employment from school, rather than the traditional route of University.

 

"We wanted to start earning money as soon as we finished our exams at school, rather than leaving University 3 or 4 years later with a huge debt behind us.  I personally looked at the Computer Science curriculum which seemed to focus more on software applications rather than modern day technology.  I've been at VESK now for 18 months and what I've learnt here in the real world is invaluable.  After 2 years at VESK, if I work hard enough and gain the correct expertiese and knowledge from my peers, I have the chance to progress to 2nd Line Support..." said Jake Fellows, one of VESK's 1st Line Engineers.

 

The UK Government are now making a big push towards small UK technology businesses.  "I think the UK Government can now see that its future lies in up and coming technologies such as VESK."
